Loudon County Sheriff Tim Guider today announced that on Friday, December 16, 2011, Mr. Wojciech Romot, age 41, of 309 McFee Road in Knoxville, was arrested at his business, Euromot Automotive Repair, 321 Leeper Parkway in Lenoir City, for the offense of Aggravated Statutory Rape.

On August 1, 2009, a 16 year old juvenile female stated that on July 31, 2009 she went to Euromot Automotive Repair in Lenoir City after being contacted by Romot, the business’ owner. She stated that after arriving at the business, Romot sexually assaulted her. The victim’s mother brought the girl to the Loudon County Justice Center and reported the incident to an investigator. The evidence from the juvenile was sent to the TBI crime lab. A search warrant was then issued for Romot’s DNA sample to be obtained and examined. The DNA profile obtained from Romot matched the DNA profile from the evidence.
